The cacao selected for this bar is from a very special single harvest, with such intense fruity notes that creates an extraordinary mix that will surprise your palate. They are rare seeds that Kakao Kamili purchases directly from the small producers of Kilombero Valley in Tanzania, where organic farming has always been practiced: the fact that there were no inorganic inputs available means that the cacao trees are cultivated without pesticides, inorganic fertilisers, or other chemical products. The beans are constantly monitored during the whole process and the collaborators receive an appropriate payment. Thanks to recent DNA analyses, we know today that the genetics of this cacao seeds is a mix of Amelonado and Criollo with a slight presence of Neo-Nacional.

The bars are created with a procedure aimed at ‘stressing’ the precious ingredients to a minimum in order to keep their organoleptic properties as unaltered as possible.
