What it is: Chuncho is called the cocoa that survived the passage of time in the region of Cusco, where it still grows in the shadow of the Machu Picchu.The trees, very tall and robust, are even more than 200 years old, and grow at a rare altitude for cocoa crops.It is a cocoa with a unique flavor, for some the most aromatic in the world, pride of the local population.
Origin: The name Cacaosuyo comes from the words “Cacao” and “Suyo”, the latter, in the Quechua language, meaning region. Tahuantinsuyo was the territory of the Inca empire, formed of four regions: Ecuador, Bolivia, Chile and Peru. Cacaosuyo aims to preserve the aroma and flavour of the original cacao of Tahuantinsuyo, in particular that of the Peruvian Amazon, and transform it into exquisite chocolate.
Ingredients: Cacao mass, cane sugar. May contain traces of nuts, milk and peanuts.
Notes: a unique sensory experience thanks to the strong notes of citrus and flowers, with hints of molasses and nuts.
Storage: this premium chocolate must be properly conserved at a temperature of between 14 and 18 °C and kept away from direct light and sources of excessive heat or cold. If, for example, it is left in the car in summer or winter it will suffer potentially ruinous heat shock.
